This course is beginner-friendly and a good starting point for anyone who hasn't worked with clay before.

In this course -
  • You will learn to create objects using hand-building techniques of pinching, coiling, and slab work. 
  • You will learn variations in each technique and create forms with these variations. 
  • You will work with clay at different stages - soft pliable, leather hard, bone dry, and bisque.
  • You will also learn surface decoration techniques, such as carving, applying textures and stamps, cutwork, etc. as appropriate to the object you make.
  • You will glaze the objects you make with simple glazing techniques suitable for the beginner level.
  • You will also understand what is required to set up a small home studio space to practice hand-building.

  • The weekday and weekend regular batches are scheduled for 7 sessions, 3 hours each, on 7 different days.

Important Points to Note

  • Price is inclusive of raw materials, firing, usage of shared tools at the studio, and taxes.
  • The glaze fired pieces will be ready to be picked up 2 weeks after the last session of the batch.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellation on or before 14 days prior to the start date of the batch - Refund after deducting 3% towards payment gateway charges.
  • Cancellation within 14 days prior to the start date of the batch - No refund will be issued. But we will be happy to reschedule to the next batch, subject to slots availability.
  • If the studio is forced to close due to factors outside of our control such as severe weather conditions, or an infectious disease such as Covid-19, we will reschedule the missed sessions. However, we will not offer any refunds.
