Young Makers Pottery Week
A creative pottery experience for children this holidays
This June and July, children can spend a week exploring clay through a small-group pottery experience designed for curious, creative young makers.
Over 5 sessions, students will learn beginner-friendly hand-building pottery techniques while creating their own ceramic pieces using methods such as pinching, coiling, and slab work.
Each batch is intentionally kept small, with just 4 students per group, to allow for individual attention in a relaxed studio environment.
Whether your child already enjoys art and making or is simply curious to try something new, this pottery week is designed to encourage creativity, experimentation, and hands-on learning.
What children will explore
During the week, students will:
- Learn foundational pottery hand-building techniques
- Create multiple ceramic projects
- Explore textures, patterns, and surface decoration
- Paint and personalize their pottery using underglazes
- Experience the process of working in a real pottery studio
No prior experience is needed.
